Panelists discussed how the stimulus package, if done right, should indeed bridge the digital divide by giving bids to small business run by minority groups. Carlos is an amazing journalism innovator. He founded Latin America's first digital "newspaper" and has done incredible work spreading quality information around El Salvador with limited resources. This year, our Knight International Journalism Fellowships sent Tree Elven to work with Carlos on coming up with ways to make the media outlet more financially successful. She's just been there a couple of months, but Carlos is already seeing results.
