For the second time, AusAID officials visit the ICFJ office in Dili to make a generous contribution to the project, in cooperation with major funder USAID.
Once again, AusAID proved they are the best kind of friends to have, as they committed another $500,000 in Australian dollars to ICFJ's work.

USAID Country Director Mark White and acting AusAID counselor Jenny Darin presided at an outdoor signing ceremony attended by about 50 journalists, staff and students from the UNTL journalism class.

The ceremony was followed by a Q&A session with the journalists, at which both aid officials fielded questions.

This is the second time AusAid has contributed to the USAID project, setting a standard the representatives from both countries said they hope will continue. The ceremony was followed by a tour of the office, including the radio studio, special projects unit and operations center.
