Katerina Blazhevska
Editor of Commentaries
Dnevnik
Katerina Blazhevska is the editor in charge of commentaries at daily Dnevnik, the first independent daily newspaper in Macedonia. Previously Ms. Blazevska served as Dnevnik’s editor in chief for four years and deputy editor in chief for two years. Prior to joining Dnevnik, Ms. Blazhevska was chief of political desk at both Denes weekly magazine and Makedonija Denes daily newspaper. Before that, Ms. Blazhevska worked as a journalist on the political desk of Radio Skopje. She speaks Macedonian and Serbian.
Aleksandar Damovski

Nova Makedonija
Aleksandar Damovski is the editor in chief of Nova Makedonija, a daily newspaper in Macedonian language. He also serves as President of the board of Macedonian Media Institute. Mr. Damovski is the co-founder of the first independent daily in Macedonian language Dnevnik. In his previous capacity as editor in chief and general manager of daily Vreme, his marketing techniques, notably promotion of the next day's headlines on the highest rated television station, A1, helped boost the newspaper’s circulation. He also worked as managing editor and general manager of daily Dnevnik. Mr. Damovski speaks fluent English and Russian.
Isen Saliu

Isen Saliu is the editor in chief of Albanian language daily Lajm in Macedonia. Before assuming his current position, Mr. Saliu is the paper’s political editor. Prior to joining Lajm, Saliu covered internal political issues in daily Fakti, also in Albanian language, before becoming its editor of political news. Apart from his native language Albanian, Saliu also speaks Macedonian, Serbian and English.
Muhamed Zeqiri

Alsat M television
Muhamed Zeqiri is the editor in chief of Alsat M television, the only private broadcaster in Macedonia with evening newscast in both Macedonian and Albanian languages. Mr. Zeqiri hosts a political show “Road Towards…” that has featured prominent figures from the domestic political and diplomatic scene. A former Kanal 5 TV journalist and Radio Free Europe stringer, Zeqiri strives to create grounds for better inter-ethnic relations in Macedonia through his work in television. Previously he also worked as a journalist and news anchor at TV ERA. Apart from his native language Albanian, Zeqiri also speaks Macedonian and English.
Ljupco Zikov

Kapital
Ljupco Zikov is the editor in chief of Kapital, the only financial weekly in Macedonia with political and business coverage, a position he has held since 1999. He runs regular commentaries in his paper on economic issues. Mr. Zikov also serves as executive director and chief editor of the private satellite station in Macedonia Alfa TV. He is also the founder of Total business web portal. Prior to Kapital, Mr. Zikov was deputy editor of news desk and editor in chief of economic desk at Makedonija denes daily, and before that, a reporter and editor of economic desk for Dnevnik. He previously worked as a journalist with MTV (Macedonian national radio and television) for five years. Zikov speaks Macedonian, Serbian, Bulgarian and English.
