Join the Debate

Join thousands of journalists worldwide on ICFJ's International Journalists' Network (IJNet). Take part in this week's discussion question, which asks: "Does family or religion ever lead you to self-censor?"

ICFJ Offers Business Reporting Online Course in Persian

The International Center for Journalists (ICFJ) is accepting applications for the fourth and last module of its online business reporting courses for Iranian journalists.

The instructor-led "Writing Business and Economic News" course will be held August 10 to September 21. Participants will apply skills obtained in previous business courses to decide on a format for a story, plan and map out the reporting process, organize and structure a story, use appropriate writing techniques, and revise and rewrite business stories.

The deadline for applications is July 30 and accepted particpants will be informed by August 3.
