Photo exhibit and silent auction, The Power of Elections,
will pay tribute to award-winning photojournalists.
 
WHO: Pioneering editor and free-press champion Aliaksei Karol of Belarus and human rights investigative reporter Frank Nyakairu of Uganda to receive Knight International Journalism Award. London Bureau Chief for The New York Times John F. Burns will receive the ICFJ Founders Award for Excellence in Journalism. CNN’s Chief International Correspondent Christiane Amanpour will present the keynote address. ABC News’ George Stephanopoulos will be the master of ceremonies

WHAT: The annual ICFJ Awards Dinner brings together more than 400 top journalists from around the world.

The Power of Elections: A Tribute to Photojournalists, will showcase signed photos by award-winning photojournalists. The exhibit and silent auction will raise funds for ICFJ programs and to buy camera equipment for photojournalists in developing countries. For more information, visit www.icfj.org/photoauction.
