Adnan Adil Zaidi
Adnan Adil Zaidi, ICFJ Project Consultant, is a Lahore-based journalist, consultant and researcher with a career spanning more than two decades. He has worked for many prominent Pakistani news outlets including ARY News, Geo News, Newsline, The News, and The Friday Times.
In 2008, Zaidi was awarded a Knight International Journalism Fellowship. During his fellowship, Zaidi trained staff and restructured the news operations of ARY News in Karachi. He also published a manual on television journalism, which is the only contemporary book on the subject available in Urdu.
Currently, Zaidi is a freelance writer for The News and a media consultant for the Human Rights Commission of Pakistan. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Punjab University.
