Alanna Dvorak is the English and engagement editor for IJNet.org. She writes articles on international media trends and generates social media posts for IJNet. She has bachelor's degree in journalism and mass communication from the University of North Carolina, where she worked as a copyeditor for the Daily Tar Heel and served as president of the club football team. After working as a reporter for three years, she returned to school to get a master's in international development studies at the Elliott School of International Affairs at George Washington University.
In addition to her work as a reporter, she interned with the National Democratic Institute and has done several contract assignments with IREX. She is an advanced Spanish speaker and has been learning Swahili in her free time.
