Ana Carolina Gonzalez

A native of Bogotá, Colombia, Gonzalez graduated with a Social Communication degree in 2005 from the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana. She has been a writer and editor on several web sites and print publications in Colombia and the United States. She has also planned social projects using communication to increase the effectiveness of collective processes. Her main interest is to make use of communication for social issues such as defending human rights, improving quality of life and recognizing population groups at high risk of social exclusion and Latino communities. Gonzalez currently is a freelance writer for AARP en Espanol.
