Ann-Marie Adams is the Founder and Editor of The Hartford Guardian and thehartfordguardian.com. Recently, she was a race and gender post-doctoral fellow at Rutgers University. Before that, she worked as a reporter and writer at The Hartford Courant, the Norwich Bulletin, Times-Herald Record, People magazine, NBC 4 New York, CT News 12 and FOX News in New York City. Adams has taught journalism and history at, among others, Rutgers University, Howard University, and Quinnipiac University. She is the president of the National Association of Caribbean-American Journalists.
