Babar Taimoor

Taimoor oversees ICFJ media development programs, including the U.S.-Pakistan Professional Partnership in Journalism. He has managed ICFJ e-learning programs in Bangladesh, Nigeria, Peru and Swaziland and worked to create the International Association for Religion Journalists, an independent organization which was incubated at ICFJ and launched in March 2012. Before joining ICFJ, Taimoor worked as project manager for media at the International Center for Religion & Diplomacy in Washington, D.C. He previously worked as a graduate assistant at Boston University's International Relations Department and Journalism Department. He has a joint M.A. in international relations and international communication from Boston University and a B.Sc. from Lahore University of Management Sciences. He has also completed a course on Global Media and International Conflict at the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University. He is a native Urdu speaker, fluent in English.
