David Bloss

David Bloss is a Knight International Journalism Fellow and consultant who launched a non-profit educational center in Delhi that combined cutting-edge, hands-on journalism instruction with the highest international standards.
Bloss had a 25-year career as a reporter, editor and manager at U.S. newspapers including 10 years as sports editor at The Providence (RI) Journal. He then spent two years in Phnom Penh as an editor at The Cambodia Daily, a bilingual newspaper.
Bloss was a Knight International Journalism Fellow in the Republic of Georgia, where he was Academic Director at the Caucasus School of Journalism and Media Management in Tbilisi, Georgia, and taught at the Institut Agama Islam Negeri in the Aceh region of Indonesia. He also spent 15 months in East Timor as country director for an ICFJ journalism project.
