Wajert serves as a program officer for multiple ICFJ programs, including the Bringing Home the World International Journalism Fellowship and the South Asia Youth At Risk Multimedia Training Program. She graduated in May 2012 with a bachelor's degree in journalism from The George Washington University. She worked for her university’s independent newspaper, The Hatchet, and interned with numerous organizations including Reporters Without Borders, the Reporters Committee for Freedom of the Press and Philadelphia Magazine.
