Writes stories and blog posts on the latest media trends, reporting tools and journalism resources for IJNet.org. She helps out with editorial content, website maintenance and keeping IJNet in shape. A Louisiana native, she has a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Louisiana State University. She wrote for the LSU Daily Reveille covering international students, gender issues and religion. Looney previously interned at the U.S. Embassy in Paris, with the Knight International Journalism Fellowships Program and IJNet. She lived abroad in Morocco and France and speaks intermediate French.
