Orczyk supports the development department in its fundraising efforts and assists with the Tsinghua Global Business Journalism (GBJ) program. Orczyk also manages the development database and assists with donor correspondence, events and other fundraising initiatives. Previously he worked as a program intern at ICFJ. He holds a B.A. in political science and French language and literature from Washington University in St. Louis, where he was a 2008-2012 Hirani Scholar. He speaks English, Polish and French.
