Tree Elven is a Knight International Journalism Fellow who worked with a leading independent online news organization to increase profitability and create a new model for digital news delivery in Central America.

A Madrid-based editor since 1984, Elven launched Hello! Group’s English-language dot com as New Media Director. Previously, she was a senior writer, features writer, deputy associate editor and associate editor for the group.

Recently, she has worked as a broadcaster for France 24, reporting for the TV channel and www.france24.com in English.
