Chris Benderev lives in Washington, DC and works as a production assistant at National Public Radio (NPR). There, he writes, produces and directs news and culture coverage for "Weekend Edition." He's also produced for NPR's "Morning Edition," "All Things Considered" and "Tell Me More." Chris is originally from California where he attended college at UCLA and interned at public radio stations KPCC in Los Angeles and KQED in San Francisco. He also studied Japanese for several years in high school and college. His hobbies include finding new music, exploring DC and practicing his photography skills.
