The International Center for Journalists honored amazing journalists Shadha al-Jubori, Chief correspondent for BBC Radio of Iraq and Drago Hedl, Editor of the Feral Tribune of Croatia, journalists who uphold the highest standards of journalism in the face of many difficult conditions. Bob Schieffer received the Founders Award for Excellence for his commitment to the highest professional standards at the annual Excellence in International Journalism Awards Dinner on Nov. 15. Bagila Bukharbayeva received the Paul Klebnikov Prize for Courage in Journalism. George Stephanopoulos served as the master of ceremonies.
