Biodiversity Reporting Awards
en Espaņol: Premios para reportaje sobre biodiversidad


2003 Winners

Each year since 1999, ICFJ has cosponsored awards in selected developing countries for reporting on biodiversity issues. The contests' goal is to encourage and recognize good reporting on biodiversity and environmental issues in countries where remarkable species richness is threatened.

Our partners in this enterprise are Conservation International (CI), a non-governmental organization devoted to conserving biodiversity, and the International Federation of Environmental Journalists (IFEJ).

The top prize in each country is an all-expenses-paid trip to an international conference on environmental journalism.

Other winners receive plaques, training materials and cash.
