The Tsinghua Global Business Journalism Program (GBJ)

Students selected for the Global Business Journalism Program (GBJ) learn how to cover global economics, financial markets and companies, with a spotlight on the China experience. All courses in the master's degree program are taught in English by renowned scholars and top foreign correspondents and journalists. Special attention is given to comparative studies of Chinese and Western stocks, bonds, currencies and government policies. Courses emphasize practical, hands-on training.

Global Health Reporting Webinar

Journalists interested in ICFJ’s 2015 Global Health Reporting Contest are invited to participate in a webinar featuring discussions with winners from the 2014 program, a senior health journalist and ICFJ staff.

The webinar will feature advice from the speakers on developing health stories, engaging audiences and applying to the contest.

How ICFJ's journalism program in Tsinghua University helps bridge cultural perceptions

Rick Dunham is a firm believer that the best way to improve communication between countries is to encourage cultural exchange.

As the co-director of the Global Business Journalism program at Tsinghua University in Beijing, Dunham has witnessed how Chinese students have benefitted from learning alongside international students and vice versa.

"When we divide our graduate classes [at Tsinghua University] up into groups, I require that each group include at least one Chinese student and at least one international student.

Journalists in Brazil, China, India and Russia won a trip to the United States and cash prizes as part of four regional competitions to recognize the best media coverage of maternal and child health.

Congratulations To The Class Of 2013
