2012 Knight Award Winners and Panel Discussion on Burma: A Storify

At an event on May 22 at Bloomberg in New York, ICFJ announced the 2012 Knight International Journalism Award Winners, and experts held forth on a panel about the recent opening of Burma. The panelists included Ambassador Priscilla Clapp, former U.S. Chief of Mission, Burma; James F. Hoge, Jr., Chairman, Human Rights Watch; and Khin May Zaw, Senior Editor for Multimedia, Radio Free Asia. NBC News' Harry Smith served as the Master of Ceremonies and moderated the panel.
