ICFJ Launches a New Service for Journalists

Sep 202010

The site now includes Daybook/Ajenda.

It is a space where journalists can go to see what activities are happening in Timor-Leste on any given day. For instance, one organization might be hosting a news conference, another might be launching a new project, still another might be hosting a conference.

The Daybook/Ajenda is updated as new information arrives at ICFJ.

If your organization would like its activities publicized send the information in an email to info@timortoday.com. Your information should include the following: the date of the event, the time of the event, the place were it is being held, one or two sentences describing the event, a contact person’s name and phone number and/or email address.

Press releases are also welcome and will be added to the Daybook/Agenda.

Please send your information to us several days before the event to ensure it gets on the Daybook/Ajenda.

The sooner the information arrives, the sooner journalists get to see it, thus increasing the chances that your event will get maximum exposure.

This is a free service.

The International Center for Journalists, a non-profit, professional organization, promotes quality journalism worldwide in the belief that independent, vigorous media are crucial in improving the human condition.
