Experts available for interviews

The International Center for Journalists (ICFJ) has experts who are available for interviews on topics such as journalism ethics, journalism training in emerging democracies and war-zone coverage as well as specific regional knowledge of South Asia, the Middle East, Africa, Latin America, Russia, Central Asia and other former Soviet republics . ICFJ has been sending its program directors and trainers into the international community for 20 years, providing training and resources for journalists and media organizations in locations from East Timor to Panama.

Along with an experienced staff, ICFJ has an extensive network of U.S. and international media through its training programs and resources:

  • ICFJ has deployed 188 U.S. journalists as Knight International Press Fellows, who have trained media in more than 70 countries. Fellows can speak with practical experience about the media in the regions where they lived and trained. Please visit www.knight-interational.org for more information.
  • The International Journalists’ Network ( www.ijnet.org ), launched by ICFJ in 1998, connects 11,000 journalists and others around the world and provides a community for the exchange of resources and media assistance news. ICFJ can tap into this network of journalists and media organizations, who are working to improve the state of journalism in all regions of the world.
