When and where does ICFJ’s 2012 Scripps immigration reporting program take place?
The program is scheduled to take place Sunday July 15, 2012 through Sunday July 22, 2012 at ICFJ’s Washington, D.C. headquarters.
When is the deadline to apply?
The application deadline is Monday May 28, 2012.
Are there any guidelines to follow for the immigration story proposal that applicants must submit with their online application?

Does ICFJ cover expenses for selected participants?
ICFJ will cover hotel accommodations and air travel for selected participants living outside of the Washington, D.C. area. Participants living in the Washington, D.C. region will be expected to commute to ICFJ’s headquarters in downtown D.C. for the week-long program.
All participants will receive a daily stipend to offset the cost of meals and local transportation.
How many participants will ICFJ select for the program?
ICFJ will select six journalists working in U.S.-based Spanish-language media and six journalists working in U.S.-based English-language media.
Will any of the training be conducted in a language other than English? No, all training will be conducted in English.
Is this program opened to journalists working overseas?
No. ICFJ will only consider applications from U.S.-based professional journalists.
