February 2011 — An article by trainee Carolyn Khor describes Chinese New Year celebrations in George Town, Malaysia, known as the “Chinatown of Penang.” Khor explores the celebratory mood in town, as well as the history of George Town, which was named a UNESCO Heritage Site three years ago.
