Other Ways to Give

Your gift will be used to advance quality journalism worldwide. Our hands-on programs combine the best professional practices with new technologies. We believe that responsible journalism empowers citizens and holds governments accountable.

Sponsorship Opportunities

Each year, ICFJ holds an awards dinner – Washington’s premier international journalism event that honors the best in our profession. Over 500 media luminaries and VIPS attend our gala. Become a sponsor or purchase a ticket today.

Gifts of Stock

An outright gift of stock to ICFJ is a quick and easy way to make a meaningful gift, avoid the capital gains tax and receive an income tax deduction for the fair market value of the stock at the time of the gift.

Planned Giving

Consider making an investment in quality news and information that will benefit not only this generation, but those to come. Planned giving can also convey numerous financial benefits to you and your family, including tax deductions and tax savings for you and/or your designated beneficiaries. We urge prospective donors to consult legal, financial, and tax advisors to explore these options and any decisions related to charitable gifts.

In-Kind Contributions

We gladly accept in-kind donations that advance our work. We are seeking technology, (such as cameras, computers), printing services, hotel accommodations, travel vouchers, for our staff and international participants.

Combined Federal Campaign (CFC)

Federal government employees can support us with donations through the Combined Federal Campaign. To donate to ICFJ, just enter our CFC number: 35277. If you work for the federal government, please contact your local Combined Federal Campaign coordinating office. This office periodically announces an enrollment period, during which time you can fill out a donation form or give online at a specific web address. To find out more, contact your local CFC representative or visit www.opm.gov/cfc.

Corporate Matching Gifts

Many companies will match employee contributions to nonprofit organizations like ICFJ, allowing you to double the impact of your gift. Consult with your human resources department to find out if they match employee contributions and to receive the necessary paperwork to accompany your contribution.

Donor Advised Funds

A donor advised fund (DAF) is a charitable giving program that allows you to combine the most favorable tax benefits with the flexibility to support your favorite causes. If you have a donor advised fund, DAF Direct enables you to recommend grants to ICFJ, directly from your DAF (as long as your DAF's sponsoring organization is participating).
