    With countries in the region neighboring Russia facing the growing trends of state- and oligarch-controlled media, fake news, and propaganda, Eurasian audiences are being increasingly exposed to biased information. At the same time, they also face many common challenges, from financial woes to global health issues and the threat of radicalized groups, which require quality objective coverage.

    Escuela Virtual y Taller Presencial para Periodistas Nicaragüenses

    La Fundación Violeta B. de Chamorro en alianza con el Centro Internacional para Periodistas (ICFJ, por sus siglas en inglés) y la plataforma de periodismo latinoamericano CONNECTAS, ofrecen un programa de fortalecimiento de capacidades para realizar reportajes en profundidad sobre temas de interés público a periodistas nicaragüenses que acrediten al menos dos años de publicaciones regulares en cualquier clase de medio de comunicación.

    The Douglas Tweedale Memorial Fellowship helps Latin American journalists improve their investigative reporting skills, either generally, or in a specialty reporting area such as immigration, environment, science and technology or business, through a three-week long program in the United States.
