Knight Fellowships
The Knight International Journalism Fellowships are ICFJ's primary means of training
journalists. The fellowships bring the training and experience of seasoned U.S.
journalists to media overseas, targeting the specific needs of journalists in
other countries through workshops, seminars and one-on-one training.

McGee Fellowship in Southern Africa
The McGee Fellowship places journalists or journalism educators in universities,
media assistance organizations or journalism associations in one or more countries
in southern Africa to conduct professional development programs for journalists in
these countries. Programs focus on topics that fit the needs of local journalists
and the expertise of the Fellow. Upon returning to the United States, the Fellow
shares his or her experience with others through lectures, seminars and published
articles.
