    Knight Foundation's José Zamora Announces 2012 Knight Award Winners

    José Zamora of the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation announced the winners of the 2012 Knight International Journalism Award at ICFJ’s May Board Dinner at Bloomberg in New York. The winners are Kassim Mohamed, investigative reporter covering Kenya and Somalia for Star FM radio station, and Sahmi Mahdi, director of news and current affairs at 1TV in Afghanistan.
