They are India's mothers, sisters and daughters — and they are dying by the thousands from cervical cancer. It ravages their bodies as they lie in crowded hospitals or suffer silently in their homes. Though the disease is both preventable and curable, 80,000 die from it every year. Researchers from the University of Louisville are working to change that.
