As Development Assistant, Christopher Kauffman works to provide funding for programs that foster innovation and strengthen the international journalism community.
Kauffman graduated from the University of Redlands, with a B.A. in Political Science. As an undergrad student, he gathered a wealth of knowledge of the inner workings of the European Union as well as a firm understanding of the intricacies of American politics. He went on to continue his education at the University of San Diego (USD) where he graduated in 2018 with an M.A. in International Relations. He cultivated his passion for international development and journalism during his overseas travel and study abroad experiences.
Kauffman aims to be an integral part of ICFJ’s mission to support journalism that transcends borders and to bring journalists from various walks of life together.
