Danielle Mitchell

For more than a decade, I have worked in finance for organizations dedicated to the betterment of society. I find it both interesting and meaningful.
As the budget and compliance officer, I provide quarterly financial reporting on ICFJ programs, as well as prepare budgets for proposals for new opportunities and revise budgets for existing projects. I also monitor compliance on program awards, including compliance by sub-recipients.
My background: I started my career with the federal government, as an auditor for the U.S. Department of Defense. I later took on finance-related roles at a variety of nonprofits, including the National League of Cities and the National School Board Association. I hold a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Delaware State University.
