Mora Hav

As someone who is passionate about learning about international cultures and communication, working at ICFJ seemed like a natural fit. I provide financial and logistical support for ICFJ programs, liaising with external parties including program participants, vendors and donors. My responsibilities include handling payment requests, coordinating event logistics and assisting with contract drafting and amendments.
My background: I graduated from Virginia Tech in 2017 with dual bachelor’s degrees in multimedia journalism and Spanish. While at Virginia Tech, I was heavily involved in organizations such as Alpha Kappa Delta Phi, an international Asian-interest sorority, and was copy editor of the university's yearbook, The Bugle. I also spent time abroad as an undergraduate, studying international communication in Riva San Vitale, Switzerland, and Spanish in Madrid, Spain.
Prior to joining ICFJ, I was an assistant event planner at The Loft at 600 F in Washington, D.C., and later joined its billing and contracts team. While at The Loft, I managed the financial processing and logging of accounts receivable and helped increase customer engagement by coordinating event logistics with high-profile clients from the Washington metropolitan area, across the U.S. and around the world.
