The International Center for Journalists condemns the arrest of Hossam Bahgat, an investigative journalist detained Sunday by Egyptian military intelligence for allegedly publishing false news that damages national interests. Why Organizers Rely on HackDash to Show Hackathons Have Worth

On July 12, 2012, ICFJ Knight Fellow Mariano Blejman sent out a simple plea on Twitter: "We're looking for a platform to organize the Media Party hackathon," Blejman tweeted in Spanish. "Are there any I’m missing?"

Former Knight Fellow Selected as Distinguished Professor at CUNY

Miguel Paz, a digital media strategist and former Knight Fellow with the International Center for Journalists (ICFJ), has been selected by CUNY Graduate School of Journalism as a distinguished lecturer in data journalism and multimedia storytelling.
