In March 2018, ICFJ will embark on a two-week “U.S. Study Tour for Brazilian Journalists: Press Freedom and Innovation in Journalism” with 10 media professionals.

The study tour will feature visits in Washington, D.C.; Austin, Texas; and San Francisco, California. This tour will facilitate an exchange of information, professional links and contacts between the Brazilian journalists and the U.S. media professionals, academics, technologists and other experts whom they will encounter.

Viviana Andrea Aguilar Cordoba, Colombia

A social communicator and journalist with over five years of experience in radio, Aguilar recently finished a Master’s degree in International Journalism at UNED Madrid. She is currently a foreign news editor at Caracol Radio, the biggest radio station in Colombia. She was born in Bogota 26 years ago, and her biggest passion is to travel around the world and learn as much as possible about other countries and cultures in order to combat stereotypes.
