Legal Advisory Committee

ICFJ's legal advisory committee brings together lawyers representing major international media outlets and those in private practice and at nonprofits who are experts on press freedom issues. Led by ICFJ board member Mark Bailen, the committee provides ICFJ and members of its network with counsel on issues ranging from cyber surveillance of journalists to threats against access to public information to legal suits brought against media outlets for political reasons.
