ICFJ​ ​Knight​ ​Fellow​ ​​Nasr​ ​ul​ ​Hadi​​ ​works​ ​with​ ​media​ ​organizations​ ​in​ ​India​ ​to​ ​improve​ ​access​ ​to quality​ ​information​ ​and​ ​journalism,​ ​by​ ​developing​ ​and​ ​expanding​ ​the​ ​use​ ​of​ ​new​ ​technologies and​ ​digital-led​ ​best​ ​practices.

Hadi​ ​has​ ​worked​ ​in​ ​various​ ​editorial,​ ​creative,​ ​product,​ ​strategy​ ​and​ ​training​ ​roles​ ​across​ ​print, broadcast​ ​and​ ​digital​ ​news/media,​ ​with​ ​marquee​ ​brands​ ​like​ ​The​ ​Times​ ​of​ ​India,​ ​Hindustan Times,​ ​New​ ​Delhi​ ​Television,​ ​Zee​ ​Media,​ ​The​ ​Associated​ ​Press,​ ​Columbia​ ​University,​ ​Jamia's MCRC,​ ​Raghav​ ​Bahl,​ ​among​ ​others.

He​ ​uses​ ​his​ ​diverse​ ​experience​ ​to​ ​create​ ​​editorial​ ​workflows​,​ ​“​culture​ ​hacking​”​ ​programs,​ ​and drive​ ​innovation​ ​in​ ​general​ ​across​ ​newsrooms​ ​in​ ​the​ ​region.​ ​He​ ​has​ ​also​ ​taught​ ​multimedia​ ​and interactive​ ​storytelling​ ​at​ ​a​ ​few​ ​graduate​ ​schools,​ ​and​ ​co-manages​ ​the​ ​​local​ ​chapters​​ ​of Hacks/Hackers,​ ​a​ ​global​ ​community​ ​working​ ​at​ ​the​ ​intersection​ ​of​ ​news​ ​and​ ​technology.

Hadi​ ​studied​ ​engineering​ ​at​ ​Aligarh​ ​University​ ​and​ ​digital​ ​media​ ​at​ ​Columbia​ ​University.
