Martin Logan

Journalist, Nepal

Martin Logan is a Kathmandu-based journalist and creator of the podcast Nepal Now. During most of his career, working in Canada and Asia, he has focused on issues of development, global health and human rights, including Indigenous peoples’ affairs.

He has worked as a journalist with the Canadian Press and Reuters news agencies, as a United Nations spokesperson and communications specialist, and as a freelancer for outlets including the Globe and Mail, Nepali Times, IPS News, the New Humanitarian and the British Medical Journal.

Through the ICFJ Global Nutrition and Food Security Reporting Fellowship, Martin Logan wrote stories about the importance of thoughtful school feeding programs in Nepal and on school feeding programs promoting healthy eating and fighting malnutrition, from Canada to Nepal.
