Barbara Rubira

Bárbara Rubira is a Brazilian journalist specializing in audio journalism and narrative podcasts. Currently, she works as a producer at Rádio Novelo, one of Brazil's leading podcast production companies. At Novelo, she have coordinated podcast series such as "Tempo Quente" and "Nenê da Brasilândia" and is part of the team that makes the weekly podcasts "Rádio Novelo Apresenta" and "Foro de Teresina".

Previously, Rubira worked with daily news podcasts and special editorial projects at the newspaper O Estado de S. Paulo. She is also a freelance reporter.

Born and raised in Curitiba, Paraná, Rubira holds a BA in Journalism from UFPR (Universidade Federal do Paraná).
