Celia Guerrero

Celia Guerrero is the Web editor of Periodistas en Riesgo (), where she researches, writes and edits reports for this blog about attacks on journalists and bloggers in Mexico. This resource, which arose from a project of the International Center for Journalists and Freedom House, was the first “crowdmap” developed in Latin America. Information from the map is used for the website “Mi Mexico Transparente,” which is dedicated to analyzing trends and patterns of physical, digital and mobile attacks against journalists, bloggers and others. Guerrero is also a member of Red de Periodistas de a Pie. She studied creative writing and literature at the Universidad Claustro de Sor Juana and journalism at Carlos Septién García School of Journalism.
