Lisa Mirella Corti

Lisa Corti is an independent transmedia journalist and writer.  Her work merges investigative journalism, poetry, and audiovisual storytelling to produce nonfiction narratives on gender, environmental justice, Indigenous peoples, and Latin American biodiversity. She holds a degree in International Relations with a specialization in Conflict Resolution and postgraduate training in Human Rights and Freedom of Expression and a member of the Oxford Climate Journalism Network. She began her journalism career as a transmedia producer at Revista Nómadas, where she worked for three years on environmental investigative journalism.

She is a recipient of the Dom Phillips Reporting Grant (Pulitzer Center, 2023), winner of the National Journalism Award with a Gender Perspective (2025), and received an Honorable Mention for Excellence in Environmental Journalism from the Inter American Press Association for “Jaguar Women”. She is the co-founder of Platform “Llanto del Jaguar” and “A Las Nadie” project. She does writing and journalism workshops for incarcerated women and communities so they can learn to use tools for storytelling and empowerment.
