Freelancer and Teaching Assistant in Specialized Journalism at Catholic University

Rosa Laura Gerónimo is a Peruvian reporter covering corruption, human rights, health and environmental issues. She is interested in the application of technological tools in journalistic investigations. Laura worked as an investigative journalist at IDL-Reporteros and Salud con lupa  as well as a teaching assistant at the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru. Her investigations have been recognized with the Global Shining Light Award, the Javier Valdez Latin American Award for Investigative Journalism, the Gabo Journalism Award and the Grand National Journalism Award, among others. Her latest reports have focused on using Open-source intelligence   and digital forensic techniques to reconstruct the murders perpetrated by the police and the army during demonstrations against the government.
