Valeria Cortes Bernal

I am a journalist and audiovisual producer from Bogota, Colombia. I joined the newspaper El Espectador in 2018 and used to cover economy and tech. I am currently one of the scriptwriters of La Pulla, an opinion piece that uses satire and simple language to explain relevant issues. I also cocreated a podcast called La Celda: Voces de Libertad (“The Cell: Free Voices”), which tells stories of people in jail or former prisoners that had been given a second chance.
