Jaclyn Diaz

Jaclyn Diaz is a Bringing Home the World fellow in 2019.

Jaclyn is a labor reporter for Bloomberg Law, based in Washington, D.C., where she covers general labor and employment issues, and the U.S. Department of Labor.

Previously, she was a general assignment reporter for The Norwich Bulletin, a local newspaper based in her home state of Connecticut, where she covered breaking news, local politics, business and wrote human-interest stories. She won three Connecticut Society of Professional Journalists Awards in 2015 for stories she wrote for The Bulletin.

She’s excited to dive into international reporting, something she’s always wanted to do, with this fellowship. She’s most looking forward to shining a light on an important issue facing workers today: how is society preparing for the future of work?
