Lori Silberman Brauner

An award-winning journalist, editor, and freelance writer, Lori Silberman Brauner is currently a communications associate at SINAI Schools in Paramus, NJ. She most recently was deputy managing editor at the New Jersey Jewish News, and has been a contributor to the New Jersey Jewish News, the New York Jewish Week, PassBlue, the Jewish Telegraphic Agency, the Times of Israel, and Lonely Planet, on topics that include international development and maternal health, Jewish travel and heritage, and Jewish communal affairs.

Through the ICFJ Global Nutrition and Food Security Reporting Fellowship, Lori Silberman Brauner took a look at the lives of Afghan mothers resettling to the United States, and the health benefits of breastfeeding. Read here.
