Muhammad Atique is a broadcast journalist, blogger, visiting lecturer and member of the Youth Parliament of Pakistan. He holds a degree in Media Studies from University of the Punjab, Lahore, and has eight years of media experience in current affairs and news programs. He has produced programs on national and international socio-political issues, including human rights, education, health, the economy, terrorism and interfaith harmony.
Atique has worked with Dunya TV and Capital News TV, and has experience working in radio with the Pakistan Broadcasting Corporation. He has worked in print as an agriculture magazine editor and as a blogger. Atique also has worked with policy as a member of the Press Council of Pakistan and through his connection with the Pakistan American Media Institute. He teaches media at the Shaheed Zulifqar Ali Bhutto Institute (SZABIST).
