Publishing House "Companion"

Yulia Batalina has been working in the media since 1986. She joined Publishing House “Companion” in 2000 as Deputy Editor of the weekly newspaper “Friday.” She is currently Deputy Editor of the publishing house. Yulia writes for several of the publishing house’s publications, including: “New Companion” newspaper, “Friday” magazine, “Companion” magazine, and the newsko.ru website. She also works with the TV outlet "Riphean", website zvzda.ru, and other Perm local media. In 2000, Yulia participated in a press tour covering the US presidential election that resulted in the election of George W. Bush. In 2003, she worked as an intern at ICFJ.
