La publicidad en móviles: poca pero prometedora

Saqué la calculadora para revisar algunas cifras recientes y verifiqué que la publicidad en móviles ha captado menos de la mitad del 1% del total publicitario en EE.UU.

Sin embargo, los $500 millones USD de publicidad en móviles 2010 doblará el total del año anterior, según dice Bloomberg Business Week.

El ritmo del crecimiento y no el total de dinero es lo importante en este momento.

Tienen razón los que dicen que el futuro de la web queda en los aparatos móviles como smartphones y tabletas como el iPad.

Por eso, la noticia de que Apple está por superar al monstruo de publicidad digital, Google, en esta categoría llamó la atención. El gráfico de IDC ilustra la situación actual.

Parece que el dominio de Google está en peligro por el iPad, cuyo ritmo de adopción ha sobrepasado el de cualquier aparato electrónico de la historia.
