The International Journalists’ Network (IJNet) will reach more users than ever through a new venture with Mashable, a leading source for digital news and culture. IJNet is a launch partner in the new Mashable Publisher Platform, which will bring the best content from select publishers directly to Mashable’s community.

“As our community grows and digital continues to transform society in new ways, we want to offer more content that dives deeper into the topics that matter to our readers,” said Adam Ostrow, executive editor and senior vice president of content for Mashable. Mashable selected IJNet because it offers the latest global media trends, training and tips for journalists around the world.

The Mashable Publisher Platform is innovative because of its powerful social media capabilities. Readers will be able to share content across many social networks with just one click. Social media icons appear next to each partner’s content, making it easy for users to follow the latest postings. Partners can also take advantage of Mashable Follow, a feature that allows users to subscribe to whatever Mashable offerings interest them.

“We’re excited that this platform will let us introduce our authoritative news and tips for journalists to an even wider audience,” said IJNet Director Jennifer Dorroh.

The Mashable Publisher Platform will launch on November 10.

Newsrooms globally have begun exploring ways to convert their journalism into different formats using AI: for example, from text articles to videos, podcasts, infographics and more. As they do so, the core challenge isn’t just accuracy – it’s rigor. Journalists strive to get facts right and attribute them clearly, avoid bias, verify claims, and maintain transparency.
