Prominent U.S. Journalists Discuss 2020 Presidential Election with GBJ Students, Alumni

Former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg recently visited the new Bloomberg News office in Beijing, where he met with graduates of the Tsinghua University Global Business Journalism (GBJ) program. The meeting marked the eighth anniversary of GBJ, a project of the International Center for Journalists (ICFJ) which has trained more than 230 business journalists to cover China’s markets and the global economy.

Commencement 2020: GBJ Confers Master's Degrees on 29 Students from 15 Nations in Online Ceremony

The Global Business Journalism program celebrated its 2020 commencement on June 21, undeterred by a global coronavirus pandemic that prevented most international students from returning to campus for the spring semester.

ICFJ's Business Journalism Program at Tsinghua University Featured on CIMA Report

A new report from the Center for International Media Assistance (CIMA) says investigative business journalism is improving in China, thanks in part to the efforts of the International Center For Journalists (ICFJ).

In 2007, ICFJ launched the Global Business Journalism Program at Tsinghua University in Beijing— the only program of its kind on the Chinese mainland.
