Engaging the Electorate: A Program Focusing on Elections Coverage and Multimedia Reporting for Cambodian Journalists

The application deadline for this program has passed.

The International Center for Journalists (ICFJ), with funding and support from the U.S. Embassy in Phnom Penh, is seeking applicants for a program for Cambodian journalists focusing on election coverage. The program features an online course in Khmer, a study tour in the United States for selected participants, and individual online mentoring.

ICFJ will select up to 25 qualified Cambodian journalists from legitimate media outlets in Cambodia to participate in the online course.

A Journey of Shared Discovery for Russian and American Journalists

The International Center for Journalists (ICFJ) invited young journalists from Russia to take part in the “Journey of Shared Discovery for Russian and American Journalists” exchange program. Fourteen journalists, who were selected in competition, came to the United States for a program from Tuesday, May 17, to Monday, June 6. Applicants needed to speak English.

Scripps Howard Semester in Washington Internship Program

The Scripps Howard Foundation Semester in Washington internship program brings two international students per year to Washington, D.C., to work at the Scripps Howard News Service for a semester. The internship is designed to give international students an opportunity to cover events in the U.S. capital, as well as to report and write feature stories for the Scripps Howard Foundation Wire.

HIV Prevention Reporting Fellowship

The world has made major progress on HIV, notably in sub-Saharan Africa, where the HIV burden is greatest. Increased access to lifesaving treatment and prevention options has led to a steady decline in AIDS-related deaths and HIV incidence. Efforts are underway to build on these gains and expand access to proven tools, including approaches that protect vulnerable populations by preventing new HIV infections.

Mike O'Connor Scholarship for Mexican Journalists

The International Center for Journalists (ICFJ) invites Mexican journalists living in Mexico to apply for the Mike O’Connor Scholarship for Investigative Journalism. This scholarship, financed by the United States Embassy in Mexico, is dedicated to the memory of Mike O’Connor, American investigative journalist who worked tirelessly to protect Mexican journalists as part of his work for the Committee to Protect Journalists (CPJ).
